The വേറിട്ട കാഴ്ചകള്‍ series in this blog is getting demerged into a separate blog. It just came to my mind that I should not write everything in a single blog. Different readers have different interests. So people who are interested in pictures and visuals as in the posts, please visit the below blog from here on. There wont be any updation of new posts of this series in this blog here after. By end of 2017, old posts of this series would be removed from this blog completely. Hope this would help readers of this blog search relevant posts in this blog easily. Do let me know if you have any suggestions.

പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട വായനക്കാരെ 

ഈ ബ്ലോഗിലെ 'വേറിട്ട കാഴ്ചകള്‍' എന്ന പരമ്പര വേർപെടുത്തി മറ്റൊരു ബ്ലോഗ് ആക്കി മാറ്റാൻ ഞാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. തോന്നുന്നതെല്ലാം ഒരു ബ്ലോഗിൽ തന്നെ എഴുതുന്നത് വായനക്കാർക്ക് അലോസരമുണ്ടാക്കുമെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാവരുടെയും ഇഷ്ടങ്ങൾ വ്യത്യസ്തമായിരിക്കുമല്ലോ. 'വേറിട്ട കാഴ്ചകള്‍' ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവർ മേലെ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ലിങ്കിൽ പോകുക. ഇന്ന് മുതൽ ഈ ബ്ലോഗിൽ 'വേറിട്ട കാഴ്ചകള്‍' പരമ്പരയിൽ പുതിയ പോസ്റ്റുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല എന്നറിയിച്ചു കൊള്ളട്ടെ. 2017 അവസാനത്തോടെ പഴയ പോസ്റ്റുകളും നീക്കം ചെയ്യുന്നതായിരിക്കും. ഈ ബ്ലോഗിന്റെ വായനക്കാർക്ക് മറ്റ് പോസ്റ്റുകൾ എളുപ്പം കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാൻ അത് ഉപകരിക്കും എന്ന് കരുതുന്നു. നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

ശ്രീ വളയനാട് ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം

സാമൂതിരി സ്വരൂപത്തിന്റെ ഉപാസനാ ദേവിയാണ് വളയനാട് ഭഗവതി. ഐതിഹ്യം ഇങ്ങനെയാണ്. ബദ്ധ ശത്രുക്കള്‍ ആയിരുന്നു സാമൂതിരിയും വള്ളുവകോനാതിരിയും. അവര്‍ തമ്മില്‍ ഉള്ള യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ ഒരിക്കല്‍ സാമൂതിരി തോറ്റു. സൈനിക ബലത്തില്‍ വളരെ മുന്‍പിലായിട്ടും താന്‍ തോറ്റത് ദേവി കൃപ കോനാതിരിക്കുണ്ടായത് കൊണ്ടാണെന്ന് സാമൂതിരി മനസ്സിലാക്കി. അത് കൊണ്ട് ദേവിയെ തപസ്സു ചെയ്തു പ്രീതിപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ സാമൂതിരി തീരുമാനിച്ചു. സാമൂതിരിയുടെ തപസ്സില്‍ പ്രീതി പൂണ്ട ദേവി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. തന്റെ രാജ്യത്തേക്ക് വരണമെന്ന സാമൂതിരിയുടെ അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥന പ്രകാരം ദേവി വളയനാട്ടു പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.

ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവം മകര മാസത്തെ കാര്‍ത്തിക നാളില്‍ കൊടിയേറുന്നു. ഏഴ് ദിവസം നീണ്ടു നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ആഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ ആറാട്ടോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു. ഈ വര്‍ഷം അതായതു 2011 ഇല്‍ ഫെബ്രുവരി 12 നു കൊടിയേറി 19 നു ആറാട്ടോടെ സമാപിച്ചു. ചില ഫോട്ടോകളും ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും താഴെ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു.

ഒരു ഗോവിന്ദപുരം/വളയനാട് നിവാസി എന്ന നിലയില്‍ എല്ലാവരെയും ഞാന്‍ ശ്രീ വളയനാട് ക്ഷേത്ര സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനു സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രം ഗൂഗിള്‍ മാപ് ഇല്‍ മാര്‍ക്ക്‌ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത് താഴെ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു.
